Many people are talking about the 2012 phenomenon. Even my daughter Maddy has gotten wind of it because she heard some older kids talking about the movie and how the world is going to end in 2012 and as many of you may know 2012 is the year the Mayan calendar signifies as the “end.” Some people look at it like a time of Spiritual Transformation, as new Light is being born unto the Planet. Then there is the movie 2012 which had Maddy all in a tizzy and uses fear based ideas of the end of time. So, what do we do with all of the contradictions?  How do we explain it to our children?

Well, I asked Christie and she has some great ideas on how to talk to children about our planet, our lives, our choices, and yes, 2012...

I look at 2012 the same way I looked at everything. I look at my life and the Planet from the viewpoint of “We have a Vote”. Because I am psychic, I sometimes receive visions of things that may happen on the planet, like earthquakes and world events.

I've been getting these visions for over 10 years. Sometimes it occurred when I was young. What I noticed over the years is that some things did not happen. Thank God!! But it always sort of puzzled me. Why was I seeing things that did not occur?

Now, I don’t want to go into all of the visions I received because a lot of them are fear based and of course, some did happen. Upon inquiry to my Guides and Intuition, I discovered that when they were “showing” me these visions, it was like I was voting whether or not I agree with whether these things should occur or not occur.

Do we have the right to vote?

It was as if we as a community on planet earth have a vote. I also noticed that after some of these “fear based” things occurred, 9-11 or New Orleans as an example, people on the planet became more aware and prayerful, adding light to things they may never have added light and positive intent to.

And maybe those prayers and positive intents acted as catalysts to bring more light onto the planet; more awareness of things to raise the vibration on the planet to Love or Above: joy, peace and consciousness.

Now, this may be strange to some of you, as it was to me as well. However, because I meet a lot of interesting people in my line of work who also happen to be intuitive, I think I have uncovered an interesting phenomenon.

Other Intuitives had similar experiences to me. You see, there was this Intuitive I had just met at a seminar and did not know, randomly started telling me about all the visions she has received over the years and it was uncanny as to how similar they were to mine. Some occurred, some did not. There were a few of them that matched, as we compared notes, that had not occurred. Of course, others did.

What was the common factor?

But, of the ones that did not occur, our visions matched: same locations, same thoughts about what would occur, same timeline.  “Weird!”, we both thought. What we both realized at that time though, is that it was as if our rejection of believing these should occur (I always vote against trauma and pain.) somehow was like we were voting for it or against it. It seemed to be what was required to shift it somehow.

I have since met many clients and people with the same experience as this. They would randomly show up in my world and start talking about visions that they had received and they wanted to know what to do with all of this. I told them to vote.

I really do get that this is a little odd. But because it kept being brought to my attention and into my world from the Universe, I took it as a suggestion from the Universe to teach others that we really do have an opportunity right now to change the Planet. Too many people showed up in my practice for me to just shrug it all off as no biggie and just a coincidence.

Every vote counts!

And this is why I am writing this post. What if in the New Year you really add some thought into how you desire to see the planet in the next 2-5 years. I really do believe that your heartfelt Intents combined with other people’s heartfelt Intents spread like a seed into the planet acting like a vote.

What you may discover in the process, as I and my clients have, is that some of the things you intend in your visioning of how you desire the future, start to show up in the media and newspaper as if the seed “catches” and now the media is going to bring it into awareness for all of us.

I sat in a group of 45 other people a few years ago focusing  on the planet bringing in greater “consciousness”.   In the next 90 days, I noticed more news programs talking about “green ideas” than I had ever noticed in the history of “green consciousness” on the Planet.

Major news channels and newpapers were buzzing about it. I also started to see the word consciousness being used more. About 6 months later, I started to see organic foods and nonchemical cleaners show up in the biggie chain stores. Was it sheer coincidence? Were we just picking up on the future? Or were we voting and creating it?  I’d like to think all of our votes about how we choose the future count.

So, I urge you to just play with what I am saying with an open heart and mind and report back what you experience.  See what shows up in the media after you plant your seeds of intent about adding more consciousness to the planet.

This is especially important to this with your children.  Let them know that they hold immense power within themselves to change the planet.  Talk with them about life, what they want to create for themselves, the kind of future they see for themselves and the world.  Because their vote counts too!  It also gets them out of fear based thinking and into CREATION mode...

Consider “voting” for more love and higher vibrational fields of energy that move us to being more conscious;  more awareness of what is truly needed to move us into choices that benefit the good of all; unmodified, organic, clean fresh food and water for everyone; a healthy, happy, and alive planet, more peace and prosperity for all citizens, and more loving energies infused into the planet.

That’s what I vote for!!
